We had the opportunity to connect with professionals in the field of developmental pediatrics, psychology and occupational and speech therapy.  What's clear from the convention is that there is a clear call for everyone to work together to narrow the gaps in learning and reading particularly among the differently-abled.  Congratulations to PSDBP on your successful event!


Calling educators & learning advocates!

Fellow educators, learning professionals and advocates are invited to join our symposium this November.  To be discussed are the ever-increasing importance of attention skills, related challenges being experienced, strategies, trends, insights and thoughts on how we can aid students navigate through the current post-pandemic landscape.  

We're excited to have four dynamic experts in their field  speaking:

  • Prof. Maricar Gustilo de Ocampo, educator with over 40 years of teaching experience, Education Consultant for early childhood, elementary, secondary and tertiary schools, teacher trainer and current faculty member of De La Salle University Department of Educational Leadership and Management

  • Dr. Francis Xavier Dimalanta, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician with over 20 years in clinical experience, current President of the Philippine Association for the Gifted, Vice-President of the Philippine Society of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics and Treasurer of the Philippine Pediatric Society

  • Ricci Mercado, US National Board Certified Teacher, Exceptional Needs Specialist with 30 years of experience in handling children with special abilities, and current Exceptional Education Program Coordinator for the Canadian American School 

  • Joy S. Go, Board Certified Cognitive Specialist with over 10 years experience in cognitive skills consultations, center director of the BrainRx BGC branch, also co-founder and co-master developer of BrainRx Philippines

Being learning advocates, our 4 speakers are all very much looking forward to tackle this topic and engage with the audience. This 3-hour event will be packed with relevant presentations and lively,  interactive discussions. Audience participants are encouraged to ask questions and share thoughts / ideas for optimal learning.
