Here's a quick guide:
Tutoring
For students with knowledge gaps -- ex. when a child has transferred to a different school, was away for a period of time, with less than solid understanding of lessons taught in class
Many busy parents get tutors to oversee their children's homework time, implement study structure at home or extend the child's knowledge in a certain area
Reading & Math programs
Ideal for more exposure, drills or enrichment in literacy or math
To build familiarity or mastery in these areas
Changing schools
When in search for a different curriculum, standard or teaching philosophy
When all existing options in the student's present school have been exhausted but the concern, usually major, is not resolved
Cognitive skills training / brain training (our method)
For leveling up a child's cognitive ability or address cognitive gaps
Addresses learning or performance struggles rooted in weak cognitive skills (i.e. attention, memory, processing speed, auditory or visual processing, logic).
Often the solution that works when tutoring or reading/math programs are not enough to resolve the struggles
If your child is experiencing learning struggles, check if you're using the right approach to resolve them.

For this family, all it took was the right solution - and a collaborative approach - to get their child out of the learning slump of weak focus, comprehension, and retention. Learning gaps, common errors, and behaviors noticed by the teachers made the training goals more targeted. We're so proud and happy for Aliyah--kudos to her mom for making it all possible!

Our programs are fun, interactive ways to stimulate brains--proven to improve attention, processing, and memory in preparation for academic and daily rigors.
If you notice any of these reading- or math-specific concerns in your children / students, check if weak cognitive skills are the root cause:
Choppy reading (fluidity)
Weak focus
Reversal/confusion of letters
Difficulty retaining lessons
Struggling with understanding basic math concepts
Not good with word problems
Unable to complete homework
Declining grades

Our students wouldn't be where they are today if not for the love and support given by their mothers and mother-figures. We want to thank you, parents, for being there to support your children throughout their stages of development. Your children are blessed to have you in their lives!
