Highlighting Attention & Reading | 1st Dibs to our Nov 11th Learning Event
"Pay Attention. Read it Again!"
Yes, we feel it, too. Handling someone with weak focus, reading or comprehension skills can be frustrating.
Over the years, we've had students who were not flagged in school come through our doors. There are obvious cases like consistently lower than average grades or constant reminders from the class teacher. At times, however, it's little things that parents can't put a finger on. Perhaps they notice one child re-reading or re-drilling more than the usual before information gets fully absorbed, or that so much extra effort is needed just to think or listen. Can a good math or reading teacher address a middle-schooler's issues or is there something else that needs to be considered? Why is this child falling behind now whereas he was doing so well in the past years? Our assessment can help show possible gaps. And yes, as with any skill, cognitive skills can be improved. Watch this short video.
"My son has become less distracted and is reading faster. BrainRx helped him overcome his struggles emotionally & psychologically. He is more confident, patient, overall more grounded."
